"Such a special place on the edge of the national park - we went over for the day and ended up spending 10 days in this slice of paradise…. Nature walks, fishing, chilling on the hammock with a fresh coconut - can’t recommend this place enough! David and Julia (hope I spelled them right) are fantastic hosts and you will feel right at home :) camping is offered if your keen on spending the night and David is a great chef! Go check it out for yourselves x"

"Best place by far on Monkey Beach. Located under an ever growing wish tree, come chill in a hammock, have a beer or coctail and leave a wish in the tree. David is an amazing character, definitely don't missed on the opportunity to sit down and chat. This place is exactly what I hoped to find after the hike. Oh and on your way there don't pay attention to the info/boat tour people telling you there is a land slide, they even managed to have notes about the land slide behind the window where you leave your name before you enter. There is no land slide, we walked out all the way to the light house without any issues. They just want you to but their boat tour, don't fail for it. This ofcourse has nothing to do with this tree bar, which was truly amazing and a highlight to our visit of Penang"

"The best place on earth. Recommend to rent a tent and stay overnight or even longer. Amazing sunrise, wonderful atmosphere, friendly and helpful guys, wish tree, glowing plankton, fireflies. Ohhh don't forget about lovely dogs and crazy monkeys. It's like a movie but it's real! If you have plenty of time, stay as long as you need to reconnect with beautiful nature and just take a breath. That's the best place."

"It’s the place to go if you want cold beer and fresh coconut. While on Monkey Island, you have to make a stop here. The place is run by David, a funny guy who’s super devoted to the spot and always gives chill, friendly service. It’s the perfect place to relax, have a drink, and hang out with the super cute dogs."
